Sell that AMD stock now before launch lol...
Real shame imo. Last AMD CPU I owned was the X2 3800+. What a beast that thing was for its time. Sad to see AMD like this. |

Or buy more after the launch. I don't see AMD going belly up over a early revision error.

More leaked reviews show it being on par with a 2500k for gaming. Probably better for encoding. To me, with the leaked prices and the good overclocking (although IPC is a bit lower than SB),BD is looking pretty good and in line with what I have been expecting for the last 6 months anyhow. People expecting an SB killer were always going to be disappointed.
Proper reviews still to come, of course.

This isn't as bad as the TLB error, that was in hardware, this is a software patchable issue.

Well we will see in few hours, one slide with Crysis Warhead benchmark showed FX 8150 on par with Core i3 2100, Jesus!!! A hot 125W 3.6GHz 8 core struggled to beat cool 65W 3.1GHz 2 core with 4 threads. ![]() I think I got really bad feeling that Bulldozer going to be terrible at gaming performance.

I would not buy stock after reading the AT gaming benchmarks. Slower than the old Phenoms and much slower than the 4 core SB parts spells doom for the gaming segment. Just amazing.

So it's looking like Bulldozer is AMD's version of the Pentium 4.
