It's as much of a sim as it can be while still being fun to people who aren't hardcore racing enthusiasts.

Also, am I the only person sick of seeing the SLS all the time? To me, it's a weird unblanced looking car and I hate gullwing doors on new cars, just doesn't fit, but that's just me.

The SLS is like a step backward while trying to go "retro" like other car manufacturers. It looks dumb and not inspired to me, but whatever it's mercsnadese.

I love it. A unique look and a work of art IMO. The new one is stunning and a perfect recreation of a classic.

btw, release is now on November 24th, even sooner than the rumored (from last week) end of November release.

Well you can win one IRL over here if you buy the signature edition and compete (and win) in some event? I think I'd sell it and buy a better looking 200k car I like the way it performs fine enough, just the styling being modernised retro looks super awkward to me.

There's only 5 premiums in there, which means the rest are from GT4. All cars from GT4 have been carried over via updated photomode high poly models if you didn't know.

Also, Polyphony are Japanese, at least they're making a good effort to have more European and US cars these days, but yes they are going to include more Japanese favourites that's just how it is. Besides, many of those are just the same car with a different year model so that the used car lot is more realistic. I can tell you that there is no difference between a '89 and '90 GTR for instance. It's just a cheap way of making another car unfortunately.

EDIT: actually noticed that it's '89 and '91, I have a feeling there are differences between those two, same with '96 and '97, nore sure about '99 and '00... Anyway, it's still fine by me since they clearly wouldn't have spent much time creating these different year models and allows someone more ability to have a car exactly like theirs in real life.

Yea, there is actually. Test Drive Unlimited lets you stall all you want with a G25 setup

More and most importantly laser scanned real world tracks please! Not some fantasy crap...

And only two ovals? Why did they get the NASCAR license then? Makes no sense...

I like the fantasy tracks too tbh, but they are lacking so many classic tracks from GT4 it's just sad. I still hold hope that these are the tracks unlocked when you start the game and more are unlocked later. However, the back artwork for the game confirms 20+ tracks 70+ variations which is what this is... unless that's going to be one generous +

And the GT series "enthusiasts" kept screaming that :GT5 IS BETTAR THAN FORZA 3 BECAUSE IT HAS 800 CARS !!!111

Whats the point if it looks like above,20-40 variations on some of them ?

I like this series aswell but the amount of cars was never a selling point for me,i've enjoyed the Forza series as much if not more.
