I dunno. I'll wait as see what all my friends get. It's looking like PS3 is winner for now.

You get an FPS on console I will dip your head in amusement park water and then stick in an electrical socket.

It all depends on what you want.
Finding friends and getting together is easier on consoles (imo, although Steam is fixing that). Sure, it's a PITA to use a controller in an FPS. But there are no hackers at all. That's worth it imo. |

Some FPS games work on console but I don't consider CoD to be one of them. That snap-to aiming BS makes it like you're not even playing the game at all.

Haven't run into that problem on PS3. The controller is just as good or better than the mouse and keyboard for me and I find it more enjoyable. BTW, here is the general gaming section

It's not a problem, it's how the game is designed... the training mission tells you to do it, "pop in and out of aiming down your sights to snap to the enemy." I watched it on youtube.
CoD gameplay is too fast and frantic to have Halo-style "slow over an enemy" aim-assist, so it uses something more invasive which turns me off completely. You can just hit LT and RT in alternating succession and kill everything on screen while having a seizure.

I'm talking about hackers/cheaters and you can turn AIM assist off.

The fact it exists is enough to ruin multiplayer dude, because everyone else is using it.

And a 360 is not a PC. The CPU is a PowerPC based chip, not an x86. You can't just write code in Windows and move it over to the 360. If it is as easy as you suggest it is to hack the 360, then why is everyone with modded 360's being caught? Surely if it was so easy, they could work around that... |
